The following is a collection of Platoon and Group photographs which has been compiled from submissions of the membership of the 545th MP Co. Association for the viewing pleasure of its members as well as to allow for copies to be made available to those unfortunates that have misplaced their platoon or group photos during the many reassignments and moves that a soldier normally finds him or herself involved with during the normal course of a military career. Fort Bliss, Texas

Japan
This is the very first official Platoon photo of the MP Platoon, Hqs Troop, 1st Cavalry Division at Camp Drake, Japan, These were the MP’s that policed the 1st Cav occupation troops in Japan and this photo contains all members of the unit to include cooks, clerks, mechanics, line duty MP’s Officers and NCO’s. circa 1947 - 1948 There are several members of this unit in this photo that are active members of the unit association.

It should be noted that each of these platoons provided manpower for various LZ’s, Fire Bases and semi permanent TCP’s throughout the Division AO. LZ’s Love, Buttons and Joy as well as Song Be are just a few of these locations and we have no group photos from these locations at this time to include in this document.
